Asics Trail of the Walls doubles up with non-competitive Family Night. 8-kilometer route for everyone in addition to the traditional 17-kilometer run

The countdown to the Asics Trail delle Mura has already started. The race that balances sport, history and territory will return to light up Verona on Saturday, August 31, when runners and ordinary enthusiasts alike will discover the face of the Verona city in the evening hours of late summer. The race, organized by Vrm Team Asd, will kick off at 8:30 p.m. from Piazza San Zeno, then continue on a 17-kilometer route full of charm and history.
New this year is the Family Night Trail, a non-competitive run that is 8 kilometers long and suitable for everyone, without the need for memberships or medical certificates. In fact, it is a race designed on the streets of the historic center and its many landmarks, perfect for families and enthusiasts who will be able to run or walk at a free pace to discover the city. The starting point will always be in Piazza San Zeno, with ribbon cutting at the same time, shortly after sunset.
Nearly sold out for the two races
The Asics Trail of the Walls has grown in importance again this year, reaching a new record number of participants. Registration is still open, but running on Saturday, August 31 at the competitive event are already 650, a hundred more than in 2023, along with more than 100 participants in the Family Night Trail. The participation fee for Asics Trail delle Mura – Competitive, which will climb up to the Torricelle, is 30 euros until August 29 and 35 euros for those who register on the day of the event (in San Zeno Square from 3 to 8 p.m.). The fee includes race packet, event t-shirt, finisher medal and refreshments (along the route and in the final part). The registration fee for the Family Night Trail – Non-Competitive is 12 euros until August 29 and 15 if you register on the day of the event, and includes both the race packet with food and wine products from Mamma Emma and Zuegg companies and the final refreshments.
