We are now ten days away from the appointment with “ASICS TRAIL DELLE MURA,” the urban trail that returns to animate Verona, in the evening hours of a late summer day. The race, organized by Verona Marathon Team, will in fact start at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 2, in front of the Basilica of San Zeno, the city’s patron saint, to penetrate a 17-kilometer route, rich in history and charm, to rediscover the most characteristic corners of the city.
The number of participants is now close to surpassing 400: considering that online registration will remain open until August 30, but that “latecomers” can also register on race day, by 7 p.m. (one hour before the start), optimism is expressed by the organization about the possibility of surpassing the record of last year’s edition, when 450 trail enthusiasts met in front of San Zeno.
Meanwhile, during the route test carried out by two teams of trail runners from the Verona area, “Sterrato” and “MalMaturi,” the technical t-shirt, produced by Asics, the “title sponsor” of the event, was presented, which will be given to all those registered for the race along with the medal coined for the occasion by Dalmas, a “unique piece” collectible on which the city skyline with the bridge crossing the Adige River stands out.

The registration fee is 30 euros; however, for those who choose the “last minute” solution on the day of the race, it will rise to 35 euros.
